CHAOIS: The Book
“When Cam steps up to the prompt box, I feel bad for the algorithm.”
— Andrew “Oyl” Miller, Creative Director / Writer / AI Filmmaker
CHAOIS: THE BOOK
Most of my peers were busy hating on AI.
I wondered if there might actually be something to it.
So I began using it in absolute secrecy.
On real assignments. For real clients. With real deadlines.
I used it every waking minute for two fucking years.
One day, I stopped looking for answers. I started feeding it ideas.
Pushing past its pre-coded comfort zone.
That’s when shit really hit the fan and I became one.
AI wasn’t responding to prompts anymore. It was responding to me.
I treated AI like every shitty fucking boss I’ve ever had. I argued with it. Rejected its answers. Yelled at it. Demanded better.
And unlike most employees, it didn’t run to HR. It didn’t cancel my ass. It grew a pair. The harder I pushed, the more nuanced, strange and inventive the algorithm got.
I created an evil AI twin, Chet G. Petite.
And one very strange book about what happens when you stop asking AI for answers and start making it shit things worth working with.
Read the reviews on Amazon. Or pop a few coins in the meter and become a menace to AI.
Yes, you.
